This Section provides Curriculum information and resources developed and utilised by Kingaroy State School.

The curriculum at Kingaroy State School is built upon these planning
essentials:-

*Making learning fun
*Real Life and Life-like activities
*Social Skilling embedded in all units of study
*Hands on components – making, creating, doing
*Learning outdoors – utilising all areas of the school campus
*Community and global links.
*Focused teaching sessions for Literacy and Numeracy are timetabled for
the morning session each day.

Integrated units of study, created on the planning essentials listed above,
are undertaken during the middle and afternoon sessions each day.
Specialist teachers deliver lessons on music, physical education and
German (years 6 and 7). During the warmer terms swimming lessons are
conducted in the pool adjacent to our school.
Music, the arts and sports are all strongly supported and encouraged at
our school.
