Specialist Subjects
At Kingaroy State School, students participate in a range of specialist subjects that complement classroom learning and provide opportunities to explore new skills, interests and talents.
Japanese (Years 5–6)
Students are introduced to the Japanese language and culture, developing skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing while building intercultural understanding.
The Arts (Prep–Year 3)
Younger students explore creativity through visual arts, music, drama and dance, building confidence and self-expression in a supportive environment.
The Arts (Year 4–Year 6)
Students further develop their artistic skills across a range of disciplines, refining technique, performance skills and creative thinking.
Technology (Prep–Year 3)
Students engage with digital technologies and design thinking through age-appropriate, hands-on learning experiences.
Technology (Year 4–Year 6)
Older students expand their understanding of digital systems, coding, design processes and safe, responsible technology use.
Physical Education (Prep–Year 6)
All students participate in regular Physical Education lessons that focus on developing fundamental movement skills, teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy, active lifestyles.
