Camps & Excursions

At Kingaroy State School, camps and excursions are an important part of enriching our students’ learning experiences. These opportunities allow students to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences, build independence, strengthen friendships and create lasting memories.

Below is an overview of the camps and excursions offered across each year level (please note that experiences may vary slightly from year to year):

Camp at Barambah Environmental Education Centre.
Local excursions to the Police Station and Court House.
Attendance at the TAFE Careers Expo.

Year 6
Camp at Tallebudgera Beach School.
Attendance at the TAFE Careers Expo.

All camps and excursions are carefully planned to align with the Australian Curriculum and our school priorities. Families are provided with detailed information prior to each event, including consent forms, costs, itineraries and supervision arrangements.

We value these experiences as they support not only academic growth, but also social development, confidence and a strong sense of belonging within our school community.​
