SHINE is a whole school rule/process that is used in all settings. From PREP to Year 6 all students know SHINE very well.
The Zones of Behaviour is new to Kingaroy State School. The Zones are for the students to identify how they are feeling throughout a school day. This also lets teachers know, how the children in their classes are feeling and what assistance they may need. Students have also come up with techniques, that they can use to help calm their brains if they are in the Yellow or Red Zone.
